Te Papanui (Enderley) community Traffic Calming submission

The submission by Te Papanui Enderley Community Trust to the 10 year plan asked for safety improvement to the streets in the Enderley neighbourhood, the list of locations for safety improvements can be found on Agenda of Hamilton City Council Infrastructure Operations Committee 8 June 2021. Chaired by Cr Angela O’Leary

Infrastructure Operations Committee also received supporting letters from Trust Waikato, Te Runanga o Kirikiriroa Trust, Te Whanau Putahi Trust, SleepWell MoePai, Eastside Seventh-day Adventist Church, Rhine Sports Club, NTKMADE LIMITED,  Te Kohao Health Ltd, Len Reynolds Trust, Hamilton Multicultural Services Trust, Fairfield Baptist Church, Dynamic Advisory Limited, Kirikiriroa Family Services trust and C V Bryant Trust. These can also be found in minutes of Infrastructure Operations Committee 8 June 2021

  1. I run through here every now and again and the one thing that would massively improve the streetscape in the area is to block Mardon and Insoll to through traffic. This would drastically reduce vehicle speeds and volumes on those routes which currently sever the community.
